New Covergirl Queen Member Is A Rocker

Covergirl picks rocker  to be part of the Queen collection

Shea Rose as been picked by Covergirl as one of its new Queen collection members. The line of makeup products started by Rapper, Singer, Actress, and Academy Award Nominee Dana Elaine Owens better known as Queen Latifah.  Shea is an up an coming singer/songwriter currrently going to the Berklee College of music.

The Boston native is in her fifth year as a professional music major. People upon hearing her have described her as a mix of Lenny Kravitz and Lauryn Hill.  She has participated in the Berklee’s Women of Rock Concert where she met with Cindy Blackman and then further collaborated with Cindy in Naples, Italy for a recording.  She was hand picked by Queen Latifah, after having viewed her music video that was among more than 600 videos submitted.

Shea accompanied four other women to a photo shoot in Miami that was done by celebrity

photog Peggy Sirota. She then did a remake of Queen Latifah’s U.N.I.T.Y with legendary music

producers Cool and Dre.

Shortly after participating  in the remake she was signed by Covergirl to become a

spokeswoman for the Queen collection, a product line started by Queen Latifah for Covergirl.
